  1. Go-jo is effective and generally safe for removing gasoline and/or diesel. Goop is a similar product that is equally effective.
  2. Sorry somebody didn’t work as quickly as you think they should have.
  3. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. What on earth suggests winter grips are better for slush? I’ve run T/As for many years and know that they are good in heavy snow and slush up to about 65 mph. The winter grips tread looks like it’s going to be planing well before 65.
  4. after sliding around on slush and snow I'm thinking about some good'ole All-Terrain T/A KOs. Looks like some 18" have an OD close to the factory conti's OD on my ST so now have to figure out wheels. Any suggestions on good 18" wheels for a '20 ST?
  5. somebody wanted to be able to tell if the tracker had been tampered with...
  6. dunno if it will help - this vid claims to be for a 2013 SE https://www.carcarekiosk.com/video/2013_Ford_Edge_SE_2.0L_4_Cyl._Turbo/lights/reverse_light
  7. The fill nipple is on the back of each blinker assembly. A special fill tool is required for the 2020s and newer. Don’t ever use anything but the synthetic fluid.
  8. Just to follow-up - visited a tech today and we used a stiff wire to penetrate the hood release firewall grommet. Took about 1/2 an hour to get it done. No big deal.
  9. Mine definitely isn’t up to temperature within a couple miles but it is registering on the gauge and the defroster is doing it’s job. Last night I changed the heat setting to auto (from max defrost) at about three miles. Weird drivers including an ambulance exiting right from the left lane diverted my attention after that.
  10. Sounds like the thermostat is stuck open.
  11. 20 ST - mounted an air horn under the driver’s side headlight today and now I need to run a wire through the firewall for the horn button. Where’s the best place to do that? Looking in the footwell/firewall area I see a lot of insulation but no penetrations. Please point me in the right direction to find an existing penetration. Thanks. (No, I’m not going to activate the air horn with factory horn, it will be on a separate switch)
  12. Got a chuckle on that one dolsen. Thanks. The camaro got me re-addicted to having some power after years of driving the anemic Explorer. I was always day-dreaming about boring and stroking the 4.0 SOHC to get just a little more out of it ... but that would have been a dead end path for a worn out vehicle. I really am enjoying all the fancy bits in the ST. The thing nearly drives itself when I tell it to.
  13. New to the edge. Still own a 97 explorer that I bought new and then took a trip to the dark side with a 2012 camaro. Traded the camaro for the edge because I wanted AWD and some horsepower. Bought the edge at the end of August and it has been mostly fine. Recently had clear bra put on the front half. Will install an air horn next. I drive a train in real life so gotta have a real noisemaker. Thinking about window tint. Howdy all.
