Any updates on your grinding brakes. The brakes on my 08 starting making this sort of noise (not quite a grind) also. 40K miles with lots of original pad left. In fact had it in for its 36K check-up and everything looked good. Hate to replace them as I should be able to go another 40K on these brakes.

I can get that kind of milage on my 2008 AWD Edge. These should be able to exceed that depending how you drive.

Mine has done this several times. I mostly listen to the radio (sirius). I can't see taking it in as somebody stated a few posts back, if they can't duplicate it............

I ended up with the Curt hitch that is highly recommended on this site. It worked great. Fit was perfect and was easy to install. I have not wired for a trailer yet as I'm still deciding whether to go with a kit or try to use the "supplied" connector. I have read you need to add three relays and fuses to turn it on...but am reluctent to pay $25 to 30 for each relay. Hoping to find the OEM number and buy them from the manufacture.

If we could find a cross reference for a generic relay it would be so much cheaper. Omron is a huge manufacturer of relays. They have numerous automotive types. Its a 12V 20Amp, but need the footprint and type to be able to plug in.

Hi Derek, There has been many questions in the towing section about the connector tucked under the rear bumper. Can it be used for trailer lighting system and what is needed to activate it? Does your electrical manual have any information about it? Appreciate you taking the time to look this up!!

What is the model number of the Edge TPMS? I finding conflicting information on the web.

I would like to do the same thing shortly. Can you tell us what brand of hitch you used and how hard/easy it was to install? I have the instructions for the Curt hitch and you have to fish the bolts into the frame. I have crawled under the car and can easily see where the hitch mounts, but I don't see any opening to fish the bolts thru. Thanks for any details you can provide.
