  1. I had an alignment done and the shocks are brand new. It’s a brand new edge. They only other shocks they offer is Bilstein B6 which I bought and didn’t make a difference
  2. I tried everything. In the end, I decided to take them off. My edge is only a month old and the headaches of worrying about the springs weren’t worth it. I liked the lowered look better but this will do
  3. I had my tires re balanced and an alignment. A lot of threads online say shorter shocks but they don’t make them for the edge. Right now it just feels like i’m driving on my rear springs with no shocks. I thought maybe my 22” rims could have been a problem so I put my stock rims on but nothing changed.
  4. Do you have any advise? The guy that did them is a hack. He also didn’t drop the back end and took every nut and bolt apart to get the springs in. Could loosening everything up while on the hoist have made everything too loose? Yesterday I dropped the rear suspension properly and put the springs and put them back in but i’m still getting the back end wobble
  5. And are cutting bump stops still a thing? Or recommended?
  6. I don’t know much about suspension or what you guys are talking about so I apologize for my stupid question lol , i’m assuming this has to be done with the tires off? Or can I have access to all of this from going under? Was your mustang bouncing like a boat?
  7. I put them on my 2021 ST Line and it’s been a nightmare. It looks sharp and sporty but i’m at the point now where i’m having them put back to stock springs next week because I can’t get the bouncing under control. On the highway it feels like i’m in a boat bouncing side to side and it’s a scary feeling. Has anyone had any success?
  8. I bought my edge and the next day put the 22” rims on. Drove it for a week Until my H&R Springs and it rode like a brick because of the 22’s but still nice and smooth. took it to a friend of mines shop and he looked like he rushed it. From then on it’s been bouncing. Had the rims rebalanced and had an alignment done. Today I put my 20” stock rims on but after I read your message, I took the back end apart and took the springs out and put them back in to make sure they were done right. A majority of the bounce is coming from the ass end. i’ll take it on the highway tonight to see if the factory tires make a difference. It’s a shame to have spent all that money on the shocks and installation to pay more money again to have them taken off and then i’m stuck with $550 springs (that’s what it cost me to get them to Toronto) and paying $500 on top of Thats to have my old ones stock springs put on. no one seems to be having this issue in this thread so it can’t be the actual springs themselves. I even replaced the rear shocks and seemed to have wasted $350 as it didn’t help. Every mechanic here doesn’t want to get involved with performance suspension, I guess for this reason.
  9. A lot of suspension travel. To the point where I feel like i’m going to bounce off the road. At this point my only option is taking them off and putting my stock springs back on. Does yours ride smooth?
  10. Does anyone’s rear springs look like this when on pavement? Does this look normal? I did a post a couple months ago about lowering my brand new Edge and the ride being extremely bouncy like on on a boat. I replaced the shocks with Bilstein B6 Performance shocks just now and it didn’t make a difference. Does anyone have advise? I’ve run out of option

  12. Thanks for the response. Did you notice a big difference with the Bilstein Performance Shocks?
  13. I recently had my 2021 AWD Ford Edge St Line lowered with H&R lowering springs. I drove it for a couple of days but noticed bouncing and swaying so I had my rims rebalanced and had an alignment done. Prior to lowering it, I put 22” rims on it. Has anyone experienced the bouncing and swaying? It still tends to do it especially at faster speeds on a highway or going around a bend on the highway. I’ve taken it to a few shops but they don’t have an answer for me. Can anyone give advise? Here it is from the back
