  1. ????. These brakes sound good. Prob match it with some springs so there is less nose dive.
  2. Anybody know where the flasher relay is? I want to find if I can get a load flash relay for LED lights. I allready have a light that partially burned on on the turning side. If I get LED lights, ill need to load it so it doesnt flash fast crazy? Ill show pics and where I got them once I get them all installed. LED lights everywhere.Prob about 100 bucks for all.
  3. I havent. I havent thought about getting my cable from the battery to the back. I have 4ga cable but I dont know if Im going to install the amp. id just run the speaker wire to the front thru the harness since im only going to be pusing 75 watts a peice tops. i have a Bazooka tube but and trying to justify bring a 4ga cable back to the tube even though the installed amp had a 16ga power cable. I have all the stuff, and I dont know where to put my amp where it will stay cool and non crushed. I dont want to mount it on the back cargo floor.
  4. I dont think its bad when you plan a trip to somewhere there arent 15 different versions of the street. When I went to the lake, it worked like a champ. When I went to Minneapolis, It told me the wrong directions and spent 3 extra hours in the car due to wrong route and tons of traffic. BAAAD.
  5. I drove on the highway and measured my odo with my AVIC 3 GPS. It seems that I might be getting a little benefit from the odo. 5 miles with the AVIC D3 and 4.9 on the odo. Good times.
  6. I think that most of the gas around where i live use 10 percent ethanol which yields less mpg than the good old stuff. Oh well, its better on a road trip than my F150 when im the only one paying for gas.
  7. My tranny used to clunk when not in operating temp. One day I was on the highway and i was slowing down and heard a moaning noise coming from somewhere. I drove another 5 miles on regular roads and when I stopped, I smelled something burnt and weird smelling. since then, no problems and my tranny deosnt clunk anymore when cold. Weird.
  8. They said they fixed it. Its not as bad as it was but its still present. I doesnt just pull to the right anymore. It depends on the curve of the road. Its not bad. They changed the direction of some plate and replaced a lot of bolts.
  9. I want to get all my lights fitted with LED. Autolumination.com has a lot of cool stuff.
  10. I think you need to find a new shop. The ford dealerships I have dealt with have been pretty good. Lets hope I didnt jinx it by typin this. Lets see what they do to my car with these crazy bolts they ordered. They did the noise from the rear moonroof. It was a stupid piece of plastic that wasnt glued on or something. Id push it up and id come back down a few days later or when it got hot. Its up there good now. Good luck. Ill tell you how my dealings go Monday. They better give me a rental.
  11. I did a search with H11 HID relay. Here is one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HID-fuse-re...sspagenameZWD1V
  12. That sounds good. I have my RCAs run on the right side of the car and I forgot to put the speaker wire in. Also, its a tight fit with 3 set of RCA cables cramed into a little space. Thanks for you help guys.
  13. I get mine sent back on monday. They are actually going to give me a rental also. i hope its not in too long. I hate being w/o my car. I dont know how nuts and bolts will fix this issue but well see. It still not that bad on a long road trip.
  14. You think Ill have any problems with running my speaker cable next to my 4 ga power wire. I have never heard of any probs. I have pics if you want them.
  15. Check out the write up from Ike. Its great. I have an AVIC D3 and spent about a grand on it with install. You need you AVIC, wire harness ( i think the one from the new explorers work), steering wheel controller converter (70 bucks) and your tools. Its about a 2 hour deal unless you have programmed your steering control deal before.
  16. You can find a standard H11 relay kit on ebay for 20 bucks. It works pretty good and I havent had a problem with it. Bulbs have been in for a month and no problems yet. I only paid 100 bucks for my HIDS. Nice white light.
  17. The dealership stated that they have not received their parts yet. Id imagine the would want to try to fix it since they wont get paid for it and the invoice is still open. On my road trip, it doesnt seem like it has a tendency to drift to the right, but it will change depending on the crown of the road. Its like its super sensitive or loose and its not tight enough.
  18. I think the fogs are the same H11 bulb as the fogs. I just dont know where i would mount more ballasts if I do the fogs too. I only paid 100 for my HIDS. Might buy another set. It does look funny when I turn on my HIghs and there just normal lights. But, I never use my brights anyways.
  19. I took my car Sophia on a 2 day trip to Minneapolis from KC. Its only a 420 mile trip but after driving it for 6+ hours, I decided this has been my best road trip car ever. After hitting all the crappy highways in Missouri, Iowa and Minnesota, car still feels great. I have owned a truck for the last few years and I wasnt sure about moving to a car chassis. I also noticed there are a lot of people driving Edges up in Minnesota than in KC. I saw at least 15 of them. There is me and another one running aournd my area. Thats it. 3 thumbs up ( deformity ) =)
  20. What a great writeup. Wish it was around b4 i installed mine. Still got to install my 4 ga power ans speakerwire
  21. Too much power seat stuff under the front seats. The rear seats dont look like thed work either.
  22. For the price of the iPhone, you can get a Sprint upstage or Moto Q, and an 80gb iPOD video. iPhone is a waste of $s IMO.
  23. First Night with HIDs. Nice. They are really bright and light up the lines really nicely. I wonder how they will look in the rain and snow situations. I guess well see. What a bargain for 125 if they last.
