FWD or AWD??

Did anyone post pics on what this can look like? I have noticed a little issue but at what point did you get the service guy to agree to replace? Pics would help. Thanks!

Don't know about that. I love my edge but it is clear that the little fit-and-finish items (or lack of) are so far behind the Japanese/German vehicles. Kind of sad and stupid. Imagine what the Edge could be if those details were paid attention to.

Since the seal process is documented not to work, they could "control" their dealers by issuing a recall to the PTU from step 1 instead of incurring multiple repair instances and degrading customer experience. Not that hard.

No sweat. After much searching and seeing nothing available or planned from Ford, I went with W-tech. Ford should OEM and sell the W-Tech product and get it right, IMO.

Spend your money on the Weathertech FITTED Edge mats. Fit much better than standard mats and much better than any Ford provided product.

www.weathertech.com. search under Edge and look for fitted version. The dealer options are cheaper in every sense. Also, I don't believe they ever released a non-black color for the Ford mats, Weathertech has a camel version that works with Camel or stone interior.

Great pics! Congrats. Really starting to like that color more and more. Do suggest the Wethertech fitted mats as they are far superior to ford accessories option.

That is the solution. You have to be stopped or in Park to input a destination. We found out because my wife had the same challenge.

Me too! Noticed it this past week (6000 miles). I originally thought it was the heated seat getting too hot. Then I smelled outside the car while in garage. I will be watching this thread closely and will take mine in next week.

Your experience is the same as mine was. However, at about 3500 miles things started to turn. Now at 5000 and seeing 18/22. Hope it works out for you.

No such thing as a free lunch, but sales guy through mine (HMLink Mirror) in for "free". I bet Good Hands would have definitely had similar success if he asked...:-)

Mine was stubborn too. I had to put the car right under the garage unit to have the signal synch. Originally tried to program with car in driveway. All works great and it picks up signal from 200 feet away. BTW, the unit I have is the optional mirror with homelink.

Go for it. Fyi... I paid $200 and since I am not as handy as you, I am satisfied.

Go for the Homelink mirror. Nice addition that is embedded in mirror.

You choose to waste them on ALL of us.
