  1. You actually get both. Sync's turn by turn directions are downloaded to your car via your cellphone and can then be added to your nav's screen. I've done this on occasion while driving and the nav database didn't recognize the spoken address.
  2. +1 Other than two simple reboots and slow screen response no complaints here. Can even stream Bluetooth audio with iphone4 (ver. 4.1) however I prefer the USB connection so I can control and see track info via touchscreen. Have had my Ltd. since the end of September and look forward to driving it everyday.
  3. I think you may be right. I probably just didn't notice it before. Hopefully it goes away tomorrow when I fill up.
  4. I looked in the manual and can't find any reference to it. I'm sure it's not related to the low fuel indicator as I've had that several times already and never seen this particular "warning". Could it be upcoming maintenance? I plan on calling the service dept. in the morning. Just thought maybe someone here would have the answer. Thanks and Happy Holidays to all.
  5. PBTR is the only product I have used on the trim since I got the Edge.
  6. I decided to try PB Trim Restorer and while it looks great when applied I am sorry to say that after a rainfall the rear bumper looks weathered. You can see streak marks where where the water ran down. So far I have to apply the Trim Restorer a minimum of once a week to keep the black looking uniform.
  7. Yes. My '07 Edge (off lease) had that same issue every year when the weather turned cold. It was mostly in the cold frosty overnight/mornings and dissipated as the temperature rose in daytime. Hasn't been cold enough here yet to notice it in the '11. When/if it does, the Sony will take care of it :-).
  8. Thanks. I have the 2011 oem rubber floor mats and like them. May get the liner too.
  9. Correct. But it appears it may be on the SEL models only. I think it's much ado about nothing.
  10. Is the ($80) 2011 cargo liner you have an OEM?
  11. You are talking about this highlighted piece right?
  12. I'm not so sure you are missing anything. That might be a protective flap put on by Ford when manufactured. I haven't noticed it on any other Edges. If anything it could hurt gas mileage being that it appears to be square and could create drag.
  13. They all have the lower air dam that runs across the front of the tires below the spoiler. I think the OP is referring to the pic from the autoblog review. If you look at that picture there is a small dam like piece in front of the tire that looks like it measures maybe 4 inches in length. Sort of like a reverse mudflap. His attached thumbnail is actually a picture of his Edge not the one in the review. My apologies if I'm wrong.
  14. Not the small squarish looking dam located just in front of each front tire.
  15. Me too! I had an '07 and always thought the hidden tailgate release was actually a step up in design from the current "hole". I never had any problems with it.
  16. I just went through the same scenario. Dealer gave me a set that had only one hole and that hole was for a hook not a button (2) as in the 2011s. I took them back to the dealer and he looked up and found the right ones. He had to order them direct from the vendor. I still have the box and part number on it is BT4Z-7813300-AC.
  17. FYI When you click on Custom Size Product List (green button) and select manufacturer Ford, the very first model listed is EDGE 2011. The size for the 2011 Ford Edge is listed as being 174 x 104mm. Further down on that same list is the SYNC Display 178 x 108mm.

    Key Slot

There is a slot for the key fob inside the center console armrest. It is just below the 12v receptacle.
