Another New Owner - 2013 Edge Limited

Hey. I just picked up my 2013 Edge Limited Ecoboost in Platinum White, yesterday morning.

 

It looks amazing since it is new and clean. Never really owned a brand new car before. I'm coming from a problematic BMW and looking for some reliability. Hopefully I get it (knock on wood). So far, loving it, and loving the technology more. I actually narrowed down my results for a small SUV to either the Edge or the RX 350. I would get a 2010 RX 350 w/ a few kms for the same price. I still think the RX350 would be more reliable and problem-free, but the interior design is not so good (quality is nice though, better than the Edge), it is boring inside compared to the Edge.

 

The Edge is fun to drive and fun inside the interior unlike the RX. Thus I chose the Edge. I still think I paid too much for a Ford though!

 

I've posted here a few times, felt I needed a formal introduction.

Anyway, that was it, I'd also like to welcome all other new members. I'll put up pictures when I get the time to take some good shots! It looks really nice and clean.

Haha Summer has just begun! (Or has yet to).

I think getting car washes in the winter will suffice. It is what I usually do. What do you mean by indoor car washing, are you referring to the garage?

Because I've heard of people doing that, never really found out how they executed it though..

Can you comment on the refinement of the 2.0L compared with your BMW? I have to believe the Edge is much more coarse and noisy compared with BMW's nice inline sixes.
