PW25
I have a 2008 Ford Edge SEL. There are times when the ABS light, Traction, and brake light all come on simultaneously. This seems to only happen after it's been driven a bit. For instance, it doesn't come on when I drive to work in the morning, but will come on in the afternoon on my way to the gym after I drive to my house to let my dog out, so it seems to only come on when it's heated up or something. A 10 minute drive usually does not activate these lights to come on. My father-in-law brought his device down this weekend and it said the error was a left front inlet valve coil circuit failure. Any ideas on how to fix this and if it needs to be done ASAP? I live in Nebraska and winter is approaching and I don't want to be driving in snow/ice and not have ABS. Any information or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Waldo
Other than checking carefully all the connectors and wiring, the only solution is to replace the ABS control module.
wlepse
I have a controller that is starting to fail on my Audi...if you look around some units seem to be pretty problematic and there are a bunch of places that will rebuild them for substantially less than a new controller. You just have to find one that covers your unit. I think the new Bosch controller for the Audi is ~ $500, a repaired unit is under $100. I think one of the companies I found does multiple manufacturers...if so I will post a link for your reference.
