Recommended Posts

Ok are you sure you want to do this?

Remove the 2 bolts from the top of the radiator grille.

Remove the 4 scrivets from the top of the radiator grille.

Remove the 3 lower pin-type retainers.

Remove the 6 fender splash shield screws (3 each side).

Remove the 4 lower screws (2 each side).

Disconnect the side marker lamp electrical connectors, if equipped.

Disconnect the fog lamp electrical connectors, if equipped.

Remove the front bumper cover.

Pull the corner of the bumper cover from the bracket.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

I am working on adding some emergency warning lighting to my Edge and I would like to add strobe lights to the marker lights in the front headlight assembly. Does anyone here have any insight as to how to remove the entire housing from the vehicle on both sides so that I can get to the back of the unit?

Thanks!

Maybe you should stick to putting a strobe or LED on your dash (Less headaches)

Well, removing the bumper is a no easy task. You should read some articles on how to change bumper bracket or side support. It will give you knowledge on how to remove your bumpers safely and the right way before you make any repairs on some other parts of your car.
