mmwine
Driving a 2012 Edge 245/60R18 in Dominican Republic, a lot of potholes and dirty roads. Need to increase the sidewall of tires, to have more air to cushion the wheels (which often break). A larger size, from 245 to 275 will also help road confort. Will size 275/60R18 fit the Edge? Do I need spacers or levelling kits?
ls973800
Use this calculator to see the difference between the tire sizes. It will show height, width, sidewall difference, etc. It will also show the effect on the speedometer reading. Rule of thumb is you don't want to make a change to the speedometer of plus or minus 3%. http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html
