windlake Posted July 29, 2013 Report Share Posted July 29, 2013 (edited) I want to do a coolant flush and replace with a new antifreeze. I have few questions:1. Where is the coolant petcock? Does 09 EDGE SEL AWD have it or not? and where it is if there is?2. My car is using Ford OEM coolant: Motorcraft Gold coolant. Can I change it to Peak Extended Life Antifreeze and Coolant after the flush (not mixing)?? Any one has an experience with PEAK brand? I checked online and seems this coolant is pretty good. Any idea or recommendations? 3. if I use distilled water to flush the coolant, do I need to collect used water and dispose it as the used antifreeze to Eco station? or just let it go with no worries?
