MS Sync - Line In & USB Media Not Working Together

Hey everyone - looking for an answer online - can't seem to find it. I have a 2010 Edge equipped with Sync (Nav) and I have a "Line In" 3.5mm audio headphone jack and a USB port in the armrest.

When I have a flash drive plugged in to the port and something plugged into the headphone jack at the same time - sync does not allow me to choose "Line In". I can only switch between USB and Bluetooth audio. However - as soon as I unplug the USB key - Line In will appear as an option,....... my question is - Is this normal functionality??

Thanks in advance - I hope this hasn't been covered yet - my apologies if it has

Hi Wil,

That's a great question. Shoot me your VIN via PM and I'll see what kind of information I can gather for you. I'm wondering if your vehicle is running the most current version of software - perhaps this is a glitch that has been addressed through an update.
