CC58 Posted January 3, 2014 Report Share Posted January 3, 2014 (edited) I read that 2011 Ford Edge has a three star frontal crash rating so went on testing site to see why it does so poorly. Turns out the drivers air bag does not sufficiently work causing the driver's head to impact the sterring wheel causing head and neck injuries. Is Ford working on this? Is therre a TSB or possible fix in the works? Seems all that would be needed is a heavier duty air bag in the steering wheel.
