2012 Edge transmission thump/ brakes pedal mushy/ squeel when turning

Recommended Posts

Hey Everyone,

I have a 2012 Ford Edge, when im driving around the city I feel a hard thump when stoping and going. Seems like the transmission is either slow to respond or something more serious. Also, lately when braking the pedal feels very soft and is also slow to respond. In addition, when turning hard at slow speeds (like backing out of my parking space) I hear a loud squeeling sound. Any advice? Suggestions with potential issues? I've read about a few TSB in regards to these issues, but it doesnt seem to apply to the 2012. PLEASE HELP!!! Thank you in advance!!!!!!

Hi KarlYuenger,

Are you still experiencing this concern? Let me know and I'll look into available options on my end.
