edgomaniac Posted July 5, 2015 Report Share Posted July 5, 2015 Hi all, I have an issue where a fastener for the rear bumper cover has failed. It's been back to the dealer once where the technician used force to push it back in place. We both thought that would do the trick, but it had popped out again the next day. Will take it back, and I guess they will have to disassemble to see what's happening with the area in question. Another annoyance is if you push against the rear bumper cover, it squeaks. I noticed this when I was putting something in the back and leaned against it. Does everyone's else do this or is it because of my bumper issue? WingNut Posted July 6, 2015 Report Share Posted July 6, 2015 (edited) I notice the squeaking on a lot of exterior plastic pieces. Mostly in the rear though. I wash my Edge a lot so I'll notice the squeak when washing certain areas. It stuck out to me because I've never heard that on any vehicle I wash. Gives it a cheap feel.
