Rusty Posted February 12, 2008 Report Share Posted February 12, 2008 Hi Everyone, Took my '04 4x4 Expy in for it's 90,000 mile check (at 94500) last Thursday, and took a look around at what Ford was offering and just happened to see our Salesman. Took the Edge for a drive on Saturday and traded in the Volvo XC70 for it. Glad I did! I've got the White Sand Tricoat Limited with 20" rims, Vista roof, Nav, Sirius, and that wonderful cargo container. LOL Looks so sharp and blows away the Lexus! Worth the extra 5 Bills. Great get up and went, smooth acceleration (not quite as fast as the turbo XC), but like all the extras much better. I don't think it has a plastic radiator like Volvo, no? Tried to get it to roll (or to the edge-no pun intended) and it just screamed around hairpin turns. Nothing like the swishy feel of my Expy. Got the FWD, even though the AWD looked tempting. Gas mileage to be determined, but understand it's about 21mpg avg. Great ride! More to experiment with in later posts. Till then....
