Ohsix Posted February 18, 2016 Report Share Posted February 18, 2016 I wonder if a Edge built in Dec 2015 can have a Lower Vin number than one built in Sept 2015 both are 2015 models My SEL build date or sticker date is 12/15 but the last five are 37531 The window sticker said 12/07/2015 Are VIN the same as serial numbers? Hermans Posted August 6, 2016 Report Share Posted August 6, 2016 (edited) That "sticker date" located at the bottom is the current date the sticker was accessed. Do a search and bring it up and you will see what I mean. I just brought mine up on http://researchmaniacs.com/VIN-Number-Lookup/WindowSticker.html and today's date shows on the bottom.
