  1. Mine failed about 6 months ago, new steering wheel and no issues since replace.
  2. Call me lucky....so far...I have not had the issue. The steering is in sport mode and 10,000 miles.
  3. I see you have a 2011. The Monroney stickers are only available for a certain amount of time. I tried to pull up a sticker for a 2010 Fusion I owned about a year ago and it was already gone. I wanted to have it to give the new owner.
  4. The Takata airbag recalls affect 18 auto manufactures including Ford. Looks like you will be riding a bike.
  5. I wasn't expecting this to be turned into gasoline thread. Thanks for hijacking.
  6. I always buy Costco and Sam's Club gas whenever possible. I don't buy into all the hype surrounding "top tier" gas. I even buy BJs gas when I can. Still far less mileage than I get on my MKZh on the same exact trip.
  7. Got back from a 2500 mile trip. The Edge was flawless for the entire trip. Used the ACC heavily, and the Lane Keeping somewhat. I switched back and forth the Adaptive Steering with no issues. This was a pretty evenly spread trip between flatland and mountain driving. Mountain mileage was 24.5 to 25.3 mpg and flatland was 27.5 to 29.6 which I thought was outstanding for a vehicle that was packed to the hilt. The Edge was very comfortable to drive. Used 87 gas all the way.
  8. If you go on the Ford Edge build site you can see them.
  9. Mine has a build date of April 19, 2016 and no issue and I switch back and forth.
  10. How do you drive in Sport mode by mistake? You have to go into the menu and change setting.
  11. Hope you don't have an accident while doing the rideshare thing.
  12. They did. Came back and said the system was very buggy. Maybe when there's the first upgrade....we'll see...
  13. That site is highly suspect. Both of my Samsung S6 phones have trouble working with Sync3. Trouble with phone contacts and I continuously have to un-pair them and then go through the process....again and again. I never had troubles with MFT or MLT. The dealer has looked at it 4 times now in my Edge....can't fix the issues.
  14. I also have the OEM cargo liner. It fits well. Just unroll it and let it sit in the sun for a couple of hours.
  15. My 2016 Edge has a build date about a month after yours and I have experienced none of the issues experienced on these forums by others. We have experienced some very heavy rain and no leaks, no adaptive steering fault. I love the adaptive cruise control and have three Ford/Lincolns with it. The only issue I've had is with Sync3. I've had to do four master resets so far. I've never had such problems with my MFT/MLT systems. As far as the black interior, I never buy cars with black interior. I'm surprised the dealer couldn't find one with your color choice on another dealer's lot and do a trade. We have a 2013 MKZh, a 2015 MKC and the Edge - my wife loves it and has commandeered it as her daily driver.
  16. Galaxy S6. I called Samsung and was eventually able to talk with someone. Apparently this is a known issue and even though Ford says Sync3 is compatible with Samsung phones, it really isn't fully compatible. Samsung's fix iis to put phone contacts on the device and not the sim card. Since I did this there hasn't been an issue. Maybe if you are saving apps to the sim card....that could be the issue. I've never used power saving on my phone.
  17. I had a lot of trouble with my phone contacts disappearing with sync3. Never had the issue with MFT/MLT.
  18. I just turn on bluetooth, put my phone in the cubby where the usb outlets are. I close the door and forget about it. I don't have the need for a holder....but then that's just me.
  19. That date means nothing to me either. Rule of thumb....window stickers appear about a week be fore the build date.
  20. The build date is at the top of ETIS and is in the European format. Hard to understand your post. If the vehicle is built it takes a couple of days for it to appear.
  21. I can confirm that it does wipe out all your settings. I had to do it today as my nav voice was barely audible and I lost the true North setting and my contacts (Samsung S6) were not showing in my contacts. This all happened yesterday. A master reset solved the issues, but I lost all of my destinations and radio settings. I have to start over from scratch. I tried a soft reboot (pressing the volume and >>> buttons at the same. The soft delete does not remove all the information, but a soft reboot did not work for me.
