Penfold Posted April 16, 2016 Report Share Posted April 16, 2016 So I was replacing a rear wheel bearing, and when I pulled the rotor, the parking break shoe and spring fell out. I ordered a new and shoe and parts kit, but I am having trouble understanding how to hook the spring up. This thread has two useful photos http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/12296-brake-shoeemergency-brakereplacement/?fromsearch=1 It's clear that one end of the spring does the rear hole at about 5 o'clock I assume that the other end connects to the bracket at 6 o'clock but I'm not sure And if so, the front or rear of it.
