hamman Posted February 21, 2008 Report Share Posted February 21, 2008 2007 Edge Sel+ FWD with 7000 miles. Transmission slips when shifting from 5th to 6th gear. The RPM's increase 500 RPM and then drop back to normal. The slippage lasts 1-2 seconds. This problem appears to be getting worse as time goes on. Anyone else had or having this problem. My Edge has been in for service over 40 working days. Looks like you guys are heading in the right direction going back to the dealership and claiming warranty. I'd try to negociate a rental if you don't already have coverage.
