JasonA79 Posted March 26, 2017 Report Share Posted March 26, 2017 (edited) So as many of you know, the Sony Sound System in the Edge isn't quite all that. It isn't loud at all. The bass is mediocre at best. I was thinking about upgrading the amp. Should I upgrade the entire system or just try upgrading the speakers, or just the amp? Any Advice? Sean Jones Posted March 26, 2017 Report Share Posted March 26, 2017 (edited) I too wasn't happy with the sound. I wanted to replace all the speakers and add a 10" sub. Talked to guys at Best Buy and they talked me into leaving the speakers already in the car alone, and just adding an amp and a sub. I ended up getting a Kicker 12" in enclosed box and an amp. I turned the bass on the Sony system all the way down and just use the 12 for bass.
