18" painted wheels... to be polished?

Recommended Posts

My wife and I purchased a 2007 SEL Plus from a local dealer. I love it to death. I am considering trading my truck for one. We fight over who gets to drive it... it's technically hers as a birthday present, but damned if I dont try to drive it every chance I get!

We got the 18" painted wheels. Originally, the car had everything we wanted except chrome clad 18's. As we have owned the car for about 6 months now and I have seen more chrome clad, I like the painted better. Question is... has anyone given thought to polishing these painted wheels? Is it even possible? I am guessing they are a polishable alloy... but I have no clue. I love the wheels. They look good painted... but they would look BETTER polished :)

Also, what have you done with the stance? Can an AWD be lowered at all? I see a guy below us did a FWD. Ours is AWD.

Try this company and see if they can help you out. I used them to straighten an alloy wheel and they did a great job...
