offroader Posted November 3, 2019 Report Share Posted November 3, 2019 Hi guys, newbie here. I have a 13 edge sport and have the same poor mileage as everyone else. I'm wondering if anyone has ever taken the rear shaft off in the summer to reduce drag or will that mess up the awd system? Besides not making it awd? We used to drive our jeeps without rear or front shafts is bearings went? I don't care for awd except in the winter, in the summer fwd is just fine. Thanks.
