tji Posted May 18, 2008 Report Share Posted May 18, 2008 I just picked up a new '08 MKX with Sync, and plugged in my Gen 5 iPod. The basic functionality works fine, it indexed my library and does music via the USB connection. The only problem is that it doesn't seem to be charging my iPod via the USB. Is this normal? I am currently using a standard apple sync cable, which charges the iPod when I connect it to my laptop. Do I need a special cable to enable charging?
