Edge2014 Posted June 17, 2019 Report Share Posted June 17, 2019 Hi Everyone, Owner of a 2014 Edge here. Recently, I had an issue a display message on my dash to "service advancetrac." When braking, the vehicle felt like a wheel was locking and it was sluggish to accelerate. The dealer pulled the codes P193C and U0401. After updating software and resetting codes, they reappeared. Dealer says that it's most likely the steering angle sensor and module, and that they want to basically rebuild the steering column. This is a big job, and to be honest I am not too knowledgeable on car repairs. Any experience or insight you have on this would be really appreciated. Thanks so much.
