Cheesey Wheel Covers???

Maybe one of you employees can explain to me why on earth you use these "cheesey" plastic overlays on these 20" wheels? My 04 Exploder Limited had cheap tin covers over the wheels to make them chrome, now your using a plastic cover which is glued on top.

OK, I also understand cost savings involved here. But, if someone is to hit a curb, and just peels the outer chrome off the plastic, then why not offer a replacement cover instead of having to shell out over 500 dollars for a new wheel when it's just the cover that is damaged?

That's my beef :banghead:
