Where is the wire to the parking brake located and where is the best place to splice in to it to connect the parking break lead from my head unit? dehydorn Posted February 7, 2009 Report Share Posted February 7, 2009 well I found it, its a little bit of a pain to get to. If you remove the trim panel directly below the steering wheel you can get at it a little better. Its a little switch that at the very top of the parking brake, I used the crimp on type of splicer. I connected mine to the blue wire coming off the sensor and it works fine.
