08edgeSyncIssue Posted September 15, 2008 Report Share Posted September 15, 2008 Ok, I am very new to SYNC, and my problem is that i updated my ipod with new songs, and the sync will not recognize the new ones, just the original ones. I tried a default and master reset on the sync, and nothing seems to work. I also did the SYNC my Itunes thing, and nothing. Anyone have any suggestions? Lex Talionis Posted September 15, 2008 Report Share Posted September 15, 2008 (edited) often it will not recognize songs that do have a minimum series of the ID tags done like: title, artist, album, genre, etc. I do not recall exactly what tags are required to be recognized, check your ID tags and make sure they are complete with at least the ones I mention and try again. These ones I mention are ways you can search in Sync so it seems the ones that MUST be done.
