silverknight
Seems the best forum for this. This is the button on the inside rear driver side. It appears from images that this just pries out and the replacement snaps right in, with no wiring harness. Am I correct? Any issues I should know about? Current button does not make contact unless pushing hard. Edited April 9 by silverknight Additional information

Was going to do a more comprehensive search once I decide that I could easily replace it.

That's the one installed in the liftgate. Mine is the one in the cargo area on the driver's side.

Looks like you just pry it out from the bottom. Is that how you got it out...or from the side...or pull out slightly from the top and push in the clip on top to release? Haz
Leveraging from the bottom would be best, due to the midpoint retaining tabs on either side and the locator/pivot tab at the top. Likely because of this simplicity, the GEN 1 & GEN 2 Edge/MKX/Nautilus Workshop Manuals do not provide any removal and installation procedure, though there is a electrical diagnostic Pinpoint Test covering the front & rear Power Liftgate switches, if that interests you. Good luck!
