chisle
Ford Edge 2013 SEL FWD 3.5L with Sync2 + NAV I find the 'touch' action on the center console rather a distraction when driving. Often I need to look down to make sure I'm touching the correct button for comfort (heat/cooling, etc.). It would be so much easier to do this without looking if they were actual buttons, as in most other vehicles. Does anyone know of a center console replacment that has buttons instead of the touch?

Haz
Welcome to the Forum @chisle! As you describe your 2013 Edge SEL, it should be equipped with the optional SYNC with MyFord Touch, including the features highlighted below in yellow... The expanded vocabulary of 10,000 Recognized Voice Commands includes the ability to control various HVAC functions via spoken words... hat Hopefully, you becoming proficient in the most useful of these Climate Control Voice Commands can eliminate your need to replace the Center Stack Control Panel and also reduce the distraction it has represented. Attached below as PDF documents are several references that may be helpful... Good luck! chisle
Thank you! I will look into the voice option. Seems the SE console improves little over the SEL for what I'm trying to accomplish, so we'll leave it there.
Wubster100
As @Haz also mentioned above, you can use the steering wheel switch to adjust the climate control in the instrument panel cluster.
