2018 Edge Titanium reverse issue

2018 Edge Titanium slips/creeps in reverse while using moderate throttle backing from garage or a parking spot. Sometimes it will shift abruptly into reverse. Seems worse from a cold start no matter what outside temp is. Issue will improve once vehicle is driven. Edge moves forward and shifts with no issue.
Had it checked at dealership this summer, could reproduce issue, no check engine light and no stored codes. Forscan reads a P0722 code, output shaft speed sensor circuit no signal.

• Would this cause my reverse issue?
• Where is sensor located on transmission?
