Roadieman
hi after 1 month of trying to replace every sensor new thermostat the heater control valve is not fitted to this vehicle spoke to ford they didnt know what was wrong we did a block test luckily the head gasket was ok in the end decided on the water pump which has been fitted today with timing belt and accessory belt the water pump was a plastic one and was broken had to wait this long to get fitted in uk this is a 2018 duratorq engine bi turbo the only reason it took so long to repair was the obd reader giving out codes im now doubting if i even need a new thermostat where all this trouble started with ecw sensor from the code reader symptoms it runs fine then will over heat with revs above 2000 rpm
