Optimus Posted 6 hours ago Report Share Posted 6 hours ago My Edge 2013 Sports leaking ac gas in 3weeks, workshop refilled gas with coloured oil 2 weeks and still couldn’t find any leak outside and suggested to replace the evaporator inside, anyone else faced this or have any suggestions before we go open the dashboard for evaporator. as ford genuine come with full assembly kit which is costly, any way to get only evaporator or any after market good quality evaporator. omar302 Posted 4 hours ago Report Share Posted 4 hours ago OEM is only available as a complete assembly. If you want cheaper, non-OEM is available for much cheaper. Just search on eBay and you'll many brands available. I don't have experience with them to give any recommendations. As for diagnosis, I had two vehicles with leaking evaporators, in both cases there was a smell inside the car everytime I turned the AC on.
