I have stainless steel exhaust tips...which actually feel more like exhaust (not tips as in easily removed) Does anyone know if Ford has these as an add on accessory? I felt around for a sec, but I did not get down and look at the exhaust, but it sure feels like you get what you get. They didnt feel like tips that I could remove... Am I stuck with them? Thanks A small dremel tool with a 'cutting' wheel makes short work of removing them. They are actually only held in place with 2 small 'tac' welds on each tip. Once removed you can smooth out the area where the welds were and apply any type of aftermarket tip that you would like. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
alwaysbikn Posted May 23, 2007 Report Share Posted May 23, 2007 I went to Pep Boys and bought two nice chrome oval tips....cut the stock ones off with a angle grinder and a fiber cut off wheel and installed the new ones.
