Wanting to put Mich LTX MS2 tires on my 2008 edge FWD. They do not make a 235/65-17 so will a 235/70-17 fit?

Need to know.

thanks

I wouldn't myself as the 235/70/17 is too tall for your application and although it may fit, it will throw your speedo off.

I would suggest using the Michelin Cross Terrain SUV in the correct size if you want to go with Michelin.

If not I would suggest looking at the Goodyear Fortera TripleTred or even the General Grabber HTS.

I've checked the speedo and it has me faster than actual speed by about 4 MPH. So if it picks up son speed, I would be happy. This vehicle is terrible in snow (FWD) so after extensive research, I really want the Kuhmo SAT KL61 but is on national backorder till somtime in Jan. The Mich LTX MS2 is a close second and is readily available. So if it fits...life is great.

Looks like the Michelin will be 1” taller and .01” wider. The Kuhmo will turn 661 times in a mile the Mich will turn 693.

There sure is a lot of difference between these tires??? Or did I pick the wrong tires?
