Adding navigation

I just bought an 07 Edge which I love! However it does not have navigation it just has the bulk cd player. I am hoping to add in the navigation, my question is should I try and take it to a our dealer or can my husband (who has installed car sterios but this would be the first nav) do it himself? I'm not sure which would be our best bet.

Contact the local company who handles the radio repairs for the Ford dealers. They'll know what you need. I believe it requires some type of programming in addition to the hardware.

hey allie, i have a nav unit for sale that is for your guys edge. if you're interested PM me on here and we can talk more about it. i can also get you a list of the other components you will need. My unit is from an 07 lincoln, and since i work for ford at a dealership i can reprogram it to be a ford unit for you.
