Won't Always Start - Neutral Safety Switch?

I recently purchased a 2008 used ford edge. After having it for less than a week, I was having problems with it not starting sometimes. After taking it back to the dealership, they said it was due to a remote starter being installed by the previous owner that was causing interference when not being started with the remote starter. They removed it and for the last 2 months, it started every time.

However, within the last week, on 3 different occassions, it has not always started for me. I kept trying and on 2 of those times, it started eventually. Just today, it just wouldn't start after i got it washed. The guy at the car wash, told me to put it in neutral and then back to park and try to start it. It worked!

He said it could be the neutral safety switch or something else electrical. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, what was it and how did they fix it? I'm planning to try to take it into the dealership tomorrow.

Thanks for any assistance!
