Update to grill and intercooler shutters with LMS tune

I've had an inquiry with livernois about tuning the active grill and intercooler shutters to stay open all the time, to hopefully help some with their nasty intake temps. well they finally got around to implementing it on my tunes.

call or email them to get your updated tune with this little addition! may not help much, but every little bit is good enough for me!

v3, but truthfully I prefer the v2 at the track. The v3 tune is a great tune in ideal conditions... at the track, it pulls a lot of timing on the top end and my 1/4 mile times were slower because of it. If the weather at the track is a cool evening and you're running high octane (100) it may be better.

anyways, it is available with v3 or v2 tunes, as I have both on my tuner

I have been monitoring the shutters, quite amazing how much fiddling goes on. I cant correlate it to temps. At hwy speed they typically close. Now I have set to be open fully, and trying to see if gas mileage changes. I doubt it will, but the claim is gas is save when closed.

would you say the v3 has better lowend performance.....say zero to sixty?

Thanks for all your hard work testing and posting it here for all of us to learn from your experience.

I wouldn't be able to give you the best answer 0-60 as i've never monitored it. my 330' times were about the same v2 or v3, but by the 1/8 mile I was losing steam. 1/4 mile, forget it, v3 was worthless for me.

Today was the 1st time I got to test out their 100 octane tune (v3). Fairly cool evening here in texas at 68* when I made my 2nd pass. 13.12 @ 103.57

Shutters are closed 90% of the time. I just completely removed the system off the car.

I'm pretty sure the guys at unleashed have the shutters tuned out so they stay open all the time as well. GT500 told me this and said I should mention it to livernois, which they finally did it for me.

A little late, in your case.. but for others that are wondering.

Mikula,

Who did you speak to at livernois about the AGS? I emailed them about it but they said its not available just yet. Tia

Anthony is the one who emailed me saying they were ready to be uploaded to my tuner. I don't know who the tuner was that actually worked on it. The tune works, as they are open all the time now. Maybe you have a different strategy code associated with your edge and they haven't figured that one out yet?

yeah, you have to ask for it. I saved 10 lbs with the removal and tons of detailing time since water just sits on the honeycombs of the AGS system
