Yes, basically that's what he said. I had seen him on the side of the road (he had radar on) and after I passed him he came out behind me. I was pretty sure I wasn't speeding but hey it's easy to do especially with these smooth riding vehicles lol. So yeah, he stopped me and said "You didn't do anything wrong but I really like this car and I wanted to find out what it was. I see it's a Ford but what year blah, blah, blah" Oh and the thing he really liked???? The wheels of course Anyway once I realized I wasn't speeding I was a little ticked that he used his authority to pull me over just to check out my car!

GatorCat, I took your advice but unfortunately that didn't seem to work; although I can now right arrow to get to "All Calls"; "Outgoing; Incoming and Missed Calls" etc. But when I select the phone icon I still get the redial screen. I'm not good with manuals and tend to get a little bleary eyed but I haven't located anything about this particular screen there either. Like you...I hope it's just a small issue!

This may be a dumb question....but is it a good idea to get updates and patches if you are not really having issues? Everything seemed to be running fine for me until I did the Sync Status Checker. It may just be a coincidence but I've noticed a few small things since then. I also don't use my USB ports or Nav and I have a Blackberry so I'm not having I-Phone difficulties. I probably wouldn't know some things were working correctly or not! Should I get the updates and patches in case?

I think that is what they are called; the arrow keys on the steering wheel. The right hand side. For the phone mine comes up on redial; I am not able to toggle between anything else. If a call is in-coming I can select OK to answer but I can't get it to go off of "redial" I have an appt. next Wednesday at the Dealer. I thought everything was working pretty good...I hope this isn't the start of some headaches :-(

Ha, ha, ha, ha.... a cop pulled me over today I thought I wasn't speeding was I? No, he just liked my car and wanted to have a closer look at it :rolleyes: BTW I was in another city and later on I saw a red Sport...yep the guy waved at me. We're frat mates or part of the brotherhood or something...now I guess! lol

I'll risk some backlash (lol) but I agree with Choff too! I'd be less than honest if I didn't say I feel cooler than most everyone on the road though not just older Edge's!!! :shades:

It is weird isn't it? I got mine on Sept. 10 and I haven't seen another one on the road yet...my son said he seen one exactly like mine way on the other side of town. Our city is about 350,000 people. I just came back from a trip to California; San Diego to Paso Robles and I didn't seen any '11 Edges. I'm now wondering if and when I do see one are we going to wave at each other...you know like bikers and truck drivers do!!!

LOL, I see lots of people cranning their necks too; I think they may be checking out the 22" wheels though. I've had many people ask if the wheels are standard or not or what kind of vehicle it is etc...and I do have my windows tinted so I'm not sure that helps! Congratulations and enjoy!

Hi, I got a 5 year bumper to bumper warranty at $1500 after a $500 reduction for Z plan. Which is really ony 2 years as you get 3 with the vehicle right? However, it was after this I found out that you can shop your warranty at other dealers etc. :-( Oh well, I just hope I never need it! Good luck with yours.

I think I read somewhere on this forum that someone had this problem. I haven't so far; but I sometimes get a picture of the previous place I backed out of; but just for a second and then it disappears.
