After 13,000 miles, I'm averaging 20-21 mile per gallon city/highway, and 27 on highway....I use the cruise control as much as possible, which helps...I also don't put discount gas in the vehicle...I personally use Shell....if you go to Joe's Discount Gas, you don't know what the hell your putting in your tank....

Factory installed, the Sirius antenna is mounted directly in the center of the "wing"...the radio antenna is not compatible for satellite reception...I swear, some of these dealerships hire rejects from Best Buy or Circuit City to do installations....The BEST thing to do is order the radio when ordering your Edge, of course....

I stay away from vanity plates, myself...I don't want to give certain people an easier way to remember who I am, especially if I have given them the French salute...

It's a shame you didn't order the sunroof...when it's closed, there are motorized fabric panels, color keyed to your interior, that close and hide both roofs,,,in the hundred plus degree weather we've been having, I have not felt ant heat leak through....be that as it may, glad to hear you're happy with your purchase....I'm up to 14,000 miles, and still lovin' it!!

I have had Sirius for a couple of years....going under a large bridge, or canopy of trees, or some other large obstruction will block the signal from the satellite....this is normal, and there is nothing you can do to correct it at this time...the same problem occurs with Direct TV, but with rain storms, or very cloudy days.....have to wait until technology catches up, I guess.....

Then make sure you don't tailgate or follow too close.....that is a big factor in accidents...people who follow too close, and then can't stop in time....all the premium brake pads and ultra performing ABS systems in the world won't help if you are too close....the laws of physics prevail......

This is just a case of being overloaded with information. The brakes work. The car stops. If you go around having panic stops, then you need to go to driver's ed., or take a defensive driving course. In the 37 years and million plus miles I've been driving, I've had to make one, maybe two "panic" stops....I've driven to 42 of the 50 States, 5 Canadian Provinces, I've driven in England...
