  1. eBay, I had them on my CX-7 until I got sick of them. They held up pretty well but as mentioned are noticeably fake. The same door handles are on the 04-08 Mazda3, 03-08 Mazda6, Mazda5, CX-7, CX-9, RX-8, 05-09 Mustang, Ford Fusion, Taurus, Flex etc etc.. any of those will work
  2. Well, if you're moving to a Traverse you're not getting away from anything. They share transmissions with the EDGE/MKX. I would discount the loaner based on the fact that people probably beat the snot out of it and it probably needs a fluid change (like most automatics at 30K).
  3. What are you getting next?
  4. The adhesive should be fine in any kind of heat if you get a quality dashkit. I always recommend the 3D sets because they look the best. Welcome as well.
  5. Why are you still insisting on doing your own twin turbocharged engine when Ford will have one on the option sheet with all of the engineering thought out? You know, AWD that's able to handle the power, engine mounts, transmission made to withstand the power, engine internals that are stronger, new turbo manifold, revised PCV system, new turbo inlet intake, reworked engine compartment, perfectly matched turbochargers, engine/transmission programming for the turbochargers, all for WAY less than going custom.
  6. How's about... Wait for the EcoBoost EDGE and save yourself a world of headache.
  7. The transmission's Torque limit is going to be approached easy with a turbo kit.
  8. Actually they're quite a few manufactures (Namely Mazda, disgusting amount of TSB's for the CX-7, little shit that could've been fixed with more R&D) that will lab rat your car weather you like it or not. Sad thing is that hurts the chances of you buying again greatly.
  9. Windy conditions, expansion joints, imperfections, etc.
  10. Yeah that's what it sounds like, body flex cracking the BAMR.
  11. Although they're design is there to mitigate wind noise it's still going to cause some, just not as much as other designs. These Ford ones are pretty cheap. http://www.ford-parts-direct.com/productDe...productTypeID=7 They're some other ones that don't have the same design but are cheaper. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ROOF-RACK-L...7QQcmdZViewItem
  12. The cover *should* keep most of it up there, but the cover really isn't that strong. I think the issue is with chassis flex shattering the glass due to inadequate bracing uptop.
  13. Are you going to get him to replace them with painted wheels? Cost really can't be that much of a difference.
  14. Yeah they're some that have had the BAMR shatter. Ours is A OK though.
  15. Crutchfield is a little on the pricey side. Go here http://www.sonicelectronix.com/ I would recommend any F-Series Pioneer Nav
  16. That problem affected a small amount 07 CX-9's, the PTO just needed to be replaced. Totally fixed after replacement and not a reoccurring issue on 08's outside of the affected build date (if any - not sure) and 09's. So was the coolant issue, it was a recall and has been fixed.
  17. Actually, I don't really like the front of the CX-9 but in my extended trips with one, it's easily overlooked for me.
  18. That's disgusting, Ford service centers seem to be really incompetent. I would check for damage.
  19. It's pretty bad, Britney Spears' album Circus doesn't even have that much range compression and clipping. The GH3 rip sounds much better than the commercial release. But what I said was mostly a joke, has nothing to do with SYNC. It might be the ID3 tag.
  20. HAHAH WTF! Looks like an EDGE minivan too...
  21. Very nice, although the stereo is pretty crappy in my eyes. Too much muddy midrange and I blew out the subwoofer, but still can't hear it.
  22. The CX-9/7 uses a similar system with no issues. But you love the MKX, so I doubt you would like the firm ride of the CX-9.
  23. If you did get out of the lease, why would you go with AWD again? It's obviously not fixed because if it was they would have the same fixed part on your MKX. I love AWD but if it's flawed as it is on this EDGE I would just have to skip it.
  24. Are you aware that the CX-9 tows 3500lbs like the EDGE? The CX-7 is rated at 2000lbs. Supporting Mazda supports Ford as well, Mazda builds the 6 alongside the Mustang. They also do a lot of joint venture developing together and sharing, Mazda makes Ford's 4 cyl engines and the 3.7L in the CX-9 is shared in the MKS but the CX-9's engine is built in Japan. Sucks about the dealer ships, they're all really poor from my experience.
