Looks pretty nasty. They totally and completely ripped off the EDGE. The front looks like a stretched out version of the EDGE's, and even the greenhouse is exactly like the EDGE's. Good thing to note is, the Venza "crossover sedan" is flopping on the lots. They did it wil the Camry(Ford Taurus ripoff), but it's not working with the Venza.

Ewwww Camry? Those things are more boring than a Crown Vic.

2D is just a bunch of flat pieces and 3D actually are form fitted to go around the curvatures of the window switch on the door panel and such. It looks much better.

The brushed aluminum is the closest look to the OE stuff. But nothing looks like the OE stuff, it's a unique pattern with the lines and such.

That dashmat site looks nice but I don't see one for the Ford EDGE. I don't like the look of dashmats but they look a whole lot better when used with those kinds of materials instead of cheap carpet. Closer shot of the material. That's a 2D kit though.

If I was going for a dash kit I would go for a classy one, they're a few that just look bad because they have so many pieces. I think there is one that actually replaces the plastic instead of just going over it. I'll look around..

I can't imagine the PTO for the CX-7 and EDGE being dramatically different, I just had my seals replaced on the CX-7 (so have others with no recurring issues) and it's totally great.. of course it wasn't pouring out, and I've been living with it for a while now it seems. But it HAS to be fixable. I wouldn't be surprised if we did share PTU's/PTO's.

It's depending on conditions, throttle, etc. slipping detected by DSC. 100% of torque can be sent to the rear wheels on the EDGE.

I had a PTO issue with my CX-7, there is a TSB issued on how to fix it. It's as simple as replacing the seals. The process to do that however isn't simple.. Really the issue is incompetence on the service departments side most of the time. To garyedwardsmith, unless the PTO becomes an emissions or safety issue, this problem will never become a recall.

Try to reset the TCM by leaving the negative battery terminal cable off for 15minutes, then pump the brakes and put it back on.

I'd take that new one, SYNC, better tires, more warranty coverage, it's new.

It's actually a switch on the newer models.

Infinity's speakers will work with any headunit, they've already tested them and confirmed that running their 2ohm speakers will not cause any damage to anything. I believe the switch on the tweeter changes them from 4 to 2.

Just a PTO I believe (center diff). I know the front wheel drive is open diff.

I directly emailed EBC so it's legit, I talked to someone on the phone from that site as well and they said the same thing EBC said.

I felt the same way, the pads totally let me down more than a few times. I'm getting these for the EDGE & CX-7 when they're available for purchase. Tires and the fluid play a big role in stopping but I've gotten the stock pads to fade way too quickly. Redstuff is can be nothing but an improvement over stock. I think the brake dust on yours might be related to the color of your wheels.

That's right, the Ford EDGE's brakes SUCK something awful and now there is an excellent replacement for them, EBC Redstuff/Greenstuff pads. I just emailed them because it's been in their parts list for a while but they've never been made and now they are. These brake pads will dust less and stop much more effectively than the stock pads, the biggest thing I hate about them is the fade, and luckily these pads will almost never fade. They will be 89 for the Front and Rear with the Redstuff, the Greenstuff should be slightly cheaper. Again, these will no doubt give you the braking power that we all need and expect. Redstuff is a street sport and Greenstuff is a less aggressive street pad. With the girth of the EDGE/MKX/CX-9, I'd get the Redstuff pads. These will fit the Mazda CX-7, CX-9, EDGE & MKX. Look around at perfectbrakes.com for them.

You need to take it to a different dealer, they're clearly not doing something right.
