I can tell you not everyone has experienced these issues, in fact mine has 2.8 with ZERO. Fast, back up camera works perfect, very little lag, no seat heaters disappearing...nada!

With 2.8 I dont have this issue.

Well as a new LTD owner I'm a little biased, but I can tell you I love this truck...I got the HID's which are really nice...and I got the BLIS pkg which I use constantly. Also, the LTD is faster than the Sport (as crazy as that is) due to the lighter weight. But, I think you can't go wrong with either.

I think there is something wrong with your navi - Mine is also on 2.8 (2011 LTD AWD), and mine takes under a minute from loading navigation until it is ready to use.

Had my 2011 AWD LTD for about 4 days...LOVE IT! No issues at all, quiet, quick, comfortable...love the MTF as well! :happy feet:

Thanks! Picked it up today....LOVE it..:D A day is not much, but everything worked 100% so far. The MFT is a little laggy, but nothing to extreme. I unfortunately did not think to ask the changes between 2.7 ->2.8

I bought mine March 9, 2011, (Limited AWD) and I got a call yesterday from the dealer they gave me the VIN, and he had an April 18 ETA from the factory, so I would think you should have been ok.
