  1. I hate chrome. I hate chrome. I hate chrome. The strip at the top of the grille irritates me. It's stupid. I've covered it in gloss black vinyl, and removed it. It didn't look right. I had planned to paint it, but getting paint to stick to chrome, (even chromed plastic,) is difficult. I didn't want it to all flake off later, especially on the front, where it's more susceptible to bugs and gravel. Somebody at 3M must have heard my plea. They recently introduced a bunch of new films in the Scotchprint 1080 vehicle wrap line, and one of them is called "Gloss Black Metallic." The hue is ever so slightly off from Tuxedo black, but it's so damn close that virtually nobody would notice. I ordered some, but I threw the little sample piece on the grille and snapped some pictures for y'all. Just thought I'd share in case anyone else was interested.
  2. Here are the bulb numbers: http://www.sylvania.com/en-us/applications/automotive-lighting-systems/Pages/lrgmain.aspx As far as the other, get them online. The parts stores ones are terrible. The site mentioned in this thread is my favorite.
  3. So I guess I don't know what you're asking for. Do you want to know colors, or bulb numbers, or are you looking for someone to pick your bulbs for you and just send you links?
  4. Drew, you should buy the front blinker bulbs that I just removed...
  5. Rear doors get counted twice. There are 10.
  6. All of mine are LED, except for the backup lights, which are HID. I also used red LEDs in the blinker. I didn't like amber in the tails.
  7. Yeah, I'm not hurting, but that puppy is pricey. My weber works just fine.
  8. Could be a bushing or a ball joint, too.
  9. Dude... Remove the 2 8mm bolts from the taillight. Pull straight back. Find the base for the reverse light. Turn 1/4 turn. Remove. Grab bulb. Pull. Test. Reverse.
  10. Mine has the factory Ford "sticker" one. I don't get it. Do people really drag stuff along the bumper?
  11. I imagine it's more of a cash donation from Ford for each one, and then Ford will reuse the cards.
  12. The one on the windshield is just as a backup for road trips. The installed one is the everyday one.
  13. Not so much. My interior would have at least 5 different paint codes.

  15. This pair is a PnP. Others I've had are not.
  16. You don't use fuses for LEDs. You use resistors. They make the car think it has a regular incandescent bulb.
  17. The crossovers are in the A-pillars. The others are Boston Acoustics SL-80s and SE-35s
