  1. There's no easy way. Only the right way.
  2. Cool. Worst case, you could wrap the whole stock grille. I only did the top chrome strip and above the headlights. Mine's a Sport, so it already had the black grille. If you're good with vinyl and don't have to redo a bunch of pieces, I'd guess that 3x5 would work fine, but measuring is up to you for your situation. Yep, it is. I actually went through a car wash about 30 minutes before those pictures. That's why it's not all the way clean, but doesn't look like complete ass, either. Remember that this stuff is made to wrap cars.
  3. I'm not 100% sure of that. My 2011 mirrors are small with 3 vanes. I've seen pictures of 2012s with larger ones with 2 vanes. Could it be BLIS vs. a blind spot mirror that makes the difference?
  4. It's only available if you have an ignition key instead of a button.
  5. I did cquartz (ceramic nanoprotectant), then polymer sealant, then show car glaze, then yellow wax.
  6. Okay, y'all have some patience with me. The car is still a little dirty. It didn't come out completely perfectly, but I think it's close enough that It'll work until I can move a little better from my surgery.

Oh my God. We stopped at that very BK on the way home. The exit with the seafood place on the pond, right?
  8. I just did the center piece tonight. I'll take a pic tomorrow.
  9. That was awesome! What if it just smells like diabetes in general?

2 hours? Where are you? The Bohemian was stupid expensive for that weekend. It was my first choice. Daytime running lights? *scratches head*
  11. Yes. It's nonsense. The interior stuff is basically Scotchguard ($10), and the exterior stuff is almost identical to Meguiar's #20 Polymer Sealant ($20). Also notice, most make no guarantees of any kind when you buy it regarding rust, staining, etc.
  12. I think it's a valid concern to have, but I wouldn't worry too much about it. Also, if the lease is through Ford, you can just turn it in how it is. As long as it still looks good, they usually won't care. Also, I've leased a couple of cars in my past, and what I usually do is just sell them outright before the lease is up. I can usually sell them for more than the lease payoff, and Ford would rather have money than a used car, anyway.
  13. Yeah, but then I'd still be doing nothing for less than I would've done nothing for before.
  14. How would you scratch it? It's like peeling off a sticker.
  15. This is part two of my chrome-hating dilemma. If anyone thinks of a better idea, please let me know.
  16. Crap. Rinse the salt off of it in the winter, wax it regularly, and buy a couple of cans of Scotchguard. Immediately after, send me $500, and you will have saved about $580.

Okay, yeah, it's hard to get good night shots sometimes. Those were taken handheld. I had an SB-900 on the camera, but I liked how they looked with no flash. In that shot of the tree, the only lighting is from my flash. Not much I could do there. Now that I look, that's the only shot I posted in which I even used a flash. I didn't have a huge desire to go to Paula Deen's. I was more about seafood. Tubby's on River St. was amazing.

I have a great response, but I'm on my phone, so be patient and I'll respond either later tonight or tomorrow.
  19. Yeah, I would pass. Mine stays in a drawer of my toolbox most of the time, anyway.
