Gorgeous new ride! Best of luck and it's great to see that American pride!
-
no offense but WHY would you lower it? a two ton CUV can't handle all that good even with lowered springs. Or does it? I know my heavy Sport leans pretty good in the corners, but at most i would get bigger sway bars before compromising any off road capabilities and making it a snow plow. The look is awesome but my insurance company and the title for my Sport says "truck" Just my opinion.

Don't forget those door jams! LOL. I really hate cleaning above the hatch near the hinges

Soooooo sinister! Really great job!

is this a stock color? I remember this on the first generation Focus... Atlantic blue i think. Great looking edge!! Those wheels are INSANE.

Thanks guys! One less headache for me lol.

Made it from a cheap toy i bought at Kmart with an Edge body, had to strip it down and paint it fully and ordered a set of wheels off ebay that looked similar to the Sport and custom painted them. It gets boring when it snows up here in PA haha.

Looks really good in black! i was up in the air with Black or Silver but I liked the black and silver contrast. Any plans for tint?

Ohhh i remember that feeling taking home my newborn Edge. AHHHH memories. Enjoy your new baby!

Whoops!! I took this pic while i only had the one side put on LOL. My mistake Edgieguy! GOOD EYE! :-P Those lifts are high quality but run $119 for the Elite set.. pricey but i was sick of using that ugly prop rod

Yeah just switch the old junk box on box system for this clean sweet looking setup. The MAF had to be taken out and put into the new one and the crank vent tube and that was it. Just be careful to keep the throttle body covered while doing this. Installation was the easiest thing I have ever done on a vehicle and usually i end up having something not go as planned so this was a real treat to do. Materials and craftsmanship are amazing to say the least and the instructions are step by step color photos and amazing explanations. I really commend K&N for their attention to detail on everything and i would recommend this system to ANYBODY. AFter everything was installed I started it up and haven't had any idling problems since. SOUNDS INSANE!!!!! Such a cool system and i'm very very very impressed. It gives it the "fake turbo" sound. :-)

Actually if you order an intake from K&N they give you a printout of a dynoed 2012 3.5 L saying 9.7 hp to the wheels.. pretty awesome
-
almost 10hp to the wheels?? OH JOY.
-
Hey Cellbine did you PlastiDip those wheels? I was anxious to do that on my set of OEM winter wheels to contrast against the silver paint on the body
-
why take off every piece of chrome on the front end when you can just mask the rest off?! MUCH EASIER.
-
Detroit? That Edge is rockin. How much did you pay for the lights?

NICE ESCAPE!!
