  1. Ford CES rep also said they have no real pricing or MPG info on the 2015 Edge yet. They hope Ford will release some info during the Detroit auto show. Im also disappointed with lack of Sync3 in the 2015 Edge. Currently considering the great lease deal out there on the 2015 RDX.
  2. Spoke with Ford Sync rep at CES today. He said that the 2015 Edge will not have the new hardware or software. Most likely the 2016 Edge will.
  3. wow! Nice deal... I have a 2012 Edge Lmtd lease that expires in March. Need to find out from local dealers what the non-MSRP lease price is. Ford's site shows nothing.

  5. Really liking the look/features of the 2015 Edge, but it looks like the same old MFT system. Anybody know if anything is changing?
  6. It is a bit less then before, but its still coming out. Especially visible all over the black interior. Dealer said to bring it back anytime. My guess is that they will perform the whole TSB again.

  9. 2012 Edge 10k miles Lease About a month ago, I started noticing white dust/flakes all over my black interior. At first I thought it was from a window being open when it was windy. However, the dust kept coming back after I cleaned the car. Checked the cabin air filter, but it was clean on both side, so I assumed the problem was in the system. Waited a couple more weeks to see if it would stop. It lessened, but hasnt stopped. Started reading on-line last night that this could be related to the flux on the a/c evaporator which is poisonous. Dropped the car off at the dealer this morning, but havent heard back yet. Anybody else experience this? 9/24/13 UPDATE: Picked up car. They performed TSB 11-9-6. 9/24/13 UPDATE 2: Mostly good so far. Only a couple new flakes. 9/25/13 UPDATE 3: Still getting new flakes. 9/25/13 UPDATE 4: Dropped car off at dealer again. Dealer performed TSB again. Keeping car overnight to test "cold" in morning. 9/26/13 UPDATE 5: Dealer performed TSB again (3rd time). Keeping car again overnight. 9/27/13 UPDATE 6: Dealer says car is fixed and ready for pickup. tsb11-09-06.pdf
  10. Parts are in. Taking Edge in this Sat morning (5/5) for the repair.
  11. Not sure how your dealer did that because mine is going to replace the entire module via TSB 12-3-3.
  12. Picked the car back up unfixed. They have to order parts to fix the issue using TSB 12-3-3. Parts will take about a week. 3433_0001.pdf

  15. He already has a new SD card from his dealer. He received a 2nd one in the mail.

  17. If it 'write protected' (which can be disbaled with the slider on the card), how can it get married to the car?
  18. Just out of curiosity, are we sure a copied SD Nav card wont work in another MFT Nav-enabled vehicle? I doubt Ford is writing the specific VIN number into the software on each SD card and then mailing them out. Also, considering the dealers were getting a stack of SD cards to use in any vehicle, says to me that they probably arent VIN coded.
  19. 800-392-4040 I called Ford (on 3/19) to inquire about my upgrade package. The system showed the correct mailing address, but didnt show it had been mailed yet. She then asked if I had received the letter telling me the upgrade was coming, which I never received. This seemed to concern her, so she setup a "re-send" of the upgrade package to make sure I get one. She said it could take up to 10days to receive it. I had already upgraded on the 3/9 from the website, but still need the SD card for navigation to work. UPDATE: Package came today (3/21)

  21. FYi - Not sure what order they are sending them out in, but I leased a 2012 Edge (w/ Nav) in Dec 2011 and still have not received the update package yet. I downloaded the upgrade and installed it myself the day it was available though.

If Ford is aware of the cause of the issue, I'd rather not have a dealership guess as to its cause and get it wrong, especially if that involves unnecessary adjustments to the physical positioning of the liftgate's latching mechanism. Gail Snyder I believe the fix involves resetting / editing the computer settings, no physical changes to the actual gate. Natasha At Ford, is that correct? Natasha At Ford I believe so too, but since I’m not a tech, I can’t absolutely say yes. But I think you are correct, Gail.
  23. My iPhone4 (not s) works fine so far after the update. BT audio streaming works fine as well.
