3.02 now installed and I still have my Edge . I dont have push start so keys had to be in the car and its the only time i have to do it with all the things i have to do during day-time. I'm pleased with it's snappy performance compared to 2.11, it's designed to be user-friendly with all the needed settings and important info easily accesed and viewed which is a requirement especially while driving. Can't wait for tomorrow to contact some Ford dealers to get the SD card because I am not even sure i will get it in the mail since i signed the papers the day Ford dealers got their 3.11 copies and this Edge like the rest on their lot is supposed to be their responsibility upgrading. I would rather have a usable and functional MFT for driving conditions than complaining that it lacks non-essential eye-candy stuff.

Thanks. It's running right now (10:10pm) with keys in the ignition outside my driveway. kind of scary thinking someone will notice it and drive away with my new ride.

I'm thinking on doing the update tonight on my 2012 edge with nav that i got a bit over two weeks ago. Is there any other reason aside for the SD map data to have my dealer do the update? I currently have v2.11.

I have been patiently waiting for my blue envelope. I just read somewhere online that a self-install of the MFT can only be made if my head unit is updated to v3.02 or else the dealer has to flash my unit to v3.02 before the MFT software update and presently, I have v2.11 right now. If so, then i guess i will not get anything from ford in the mail then. I'd rather do the update myself with the download file in les than an hour at home and just pick up the NAV sd at the dealer. Can anyone confirm this v3.02 requirement?

This is great, Edge owners who are into photography as a hobby and i thought i was alone. Anyone in NorCal who are into landscape, nature and wildlife?

How about a usb hub using one of the existing usb port?

Got my Edge SEL ecoboost a little over a week ago. So far my impressions are cabin is very quiet, responsive acceleration from stop to go, MFT is slow and glitchy but overall its much better than the Mazda 6 that i replaced. Hopefully the MFT will still be supported and improved on all the older models.

I'm in the same boat just days ago. I got a 0.4% rate reduction provided i get the 72/74k premium ESP at 100 deductible. The f&i guy priced me 1,999 (1000 more than what i could have gotten for the same thing elsewhere) but he said it is refundable (by returning the amount to the remaining mortgage) if ever i changed my mind. I plan to give the dealer a visit this monday and have the ESP cancelled which will be 8 days of signing the papers. 1. What happens to the reduced interest rate that i got after the ESP is gone? 2. Asuming it will not be a full refund so what is the reasonable amount i should get back? This time, I just want to separate what is reasonable from any of his sales pitch and excuses.

Got my first Edge SEL ecoboost in tri-color platinum and 20" wheels just a couple of days ago and have learned a lot after just a few days of anonymous snooping and now i am an official member. It has all the SEL available options except push start, alarm and that radar thing. I traded my Mazda 6 sport hatchback in blazing copper metallic that was starting to show old age symptoms at 8 years and 85k miles. It was also partially built by ford and had a V6 Duratec engine.
