Is it possible to remove this thing without taking the entire front end apart? If so, how does it come off without any headaches?

Hey. I take offense to that. I actually have owned a few and even have had one in multiple magazines. None of them, looked anything like that crap posted.

Seems like a freak incident. Interested in knowing what caused it and how it got resolved.

I figured I would introduce myself. My name is Jason. I have a 2012 Edge Sport. I picked it up Oct, 2011. It is Metallic white in color. I forget the actual color name. So far I really like the vehicle. It has a lot of power, and I always catch people staring at it, or stopping me at gas stations to take a look at it. My second color choice would have been a RED one.

Sometimes when I get in my edge and start it up, it starts playing mP3s off the USB drive when the last thing I was listening to was the radio.

I wonder how the factory 22s on the Sport like Snow. I live in AZ but we do get snow in the north country during the winter. I'm curious how it performs. I had a 08 Sport Trac before the Edge and it hated the snow.

My 12 Sport has Gloss Black Grill. Not sure I like the sparkle look of the intended color. I think the gloss black looks much sportier so I am happy with this screw up.

I live in Arizona. I have 2012 Edge Sport. I have not had any heat related issues as described.

Thats crazy. Never heard of pieces just flying off. Still seems like isolated incident.

I'm wondering if that rubber in a can would work well as a non-slip coating? Especially for someone who designs a compartment based shelf to separate small items. What do you guys think?

Seems like a lot of owners on here are looking to impersonate the SPORT. I would just color match your grille and leave the Sport Grille to the sport model. Just my 2 cents.
