Good luck - I have also been following your vehicle's progress. Mine was just shipped yesterday 2/15/08. Should only take a few days to arrive her in NE Ohio. I am only concerned that there was a 9 day interval from the day it was made to the day it was released. I have to wonder about any quality issues? Will be checking things over carefully. Elmwood - what part of the country are you in? I havent heart anything about this in NE Ohio. May be specific to your region of the country.

Seems too good to be true - I am taking delivery next week and my other car is a Toyota. I would say that qualifies for the "conquest" discount. Any help out there? FB

Sorry to hear about your problems. I am waiting for my 08 awd and am hoping for the best. Seems to me that this should be covered under your state's Lemon Law.

Lex - I am reading the various posts with the transmission leaks, moon roof issues, fuel gauge problems, noisy wheels, etc, etc. I only hope that Ford is correcting these problems as they become appearant. Mine is scheduled for production the week of Feb 4th. I am giving up my Toyota and going back to Ford. If this turns out to be troublesome - I won't hesitate to unload it.

I have seen the moulded splash guards listed in the accessories section for the Edge available in black only. I know that painting these to match the body color would be a problem for me. Does anyone know of where I can find painted moulded front splash guards? There is too much on the roads here in OH/PA to risk paint damage, stone chips and all those things.
